Dr. Lillian Ostojich

By profession a medical doctor, plastic surgeon, she is also a LEED Green Associate. Dr.Lilly is the Founder and Owner of Woxett Construction, LLC (https://woxettconstruction.com), a Chicago-based women and minority owned sustainable development company, and the author of Rebuilding the Maine Street book (https://www.amazon.in/Rebuilding-Main-Street-Lillian-Ostojich)
Raechel Peters
NAWIC Chicago Metro Sustainability Committee Co-Chair Board Director
Specializing in commercial concrete and playground development, Raechel brings deep field expertise and operational leadership to every project. She is passionate about “boots-on-the-ground” leadership — combining hands-on jobsite experience with the strategic ability to successfully negotiate and manage large-scale projects from inception through completion.
Shannon Wells
NAWIC Chicago Metro Sustainability Committee Marketing and Communication Chair Board Director
With leadership experience across construction, real estate development, communications, marketing, and brand strategy, Shannon brings a collaborative and forward-thinking approach to the committee’s digital presence and messaging efforts. Her professional background includes overseeing marketing, sales, construction management coordination, lease-up strategy, branding, and stakeholder engagement for large-scale residential and development projects. She is passionate about building strong industry relationships and helping position the Sustainability Committee as a respected and impactful resource within the construction community.
Shannon’s approach combines strategic communication, creative vision, and industry insight to support initiatives that reflect innovation, leadership, and long-term sustainability within the built environment.

A Chicagoland native, Shannon began her real estate career at age 19 with Oxford Estates, where she spent 12 years helping buyers navigate the new construction process. After taking time away from the industry to raise her family, she returned to real estate with a renewed passion and a client-first approach.
Shannon is deeply committed to sustainability, responsible development, and the preservation of historic homes, properties, and landmarks. As a member of a Green Initiative and Sustainability Committee, she advocates for energy-efficient building practices and thoughtful development that respects both the character of existing communities and the needs of future generations.
